Northern Junk Building

The Northern Junk building is among the oldest commercial warehouses in Victoria’s Inner Harbour.  It was built in 1860 during the Fraser River Gold Rush, when Victoria was the primary reception point and supply town for miners coming from California en route to the interior of British Columbia.

Her “left-hand lines” series began as an exercise in loosening up: Line-work done by her left hand and coloured in with her right. She is the author/illustrator of the graphic novel “Forward”.
