Parliament Buildings British Columbia

Not even the moon can compete with the three thousand lights that set the Parliament Buildings aglow each night. Located on Victoria’s Inner Harbour, construction of the iconic Romanesque Revival building began in 1893 with further additions completed between 1912-1916. I used to work across the street from the building and had the pleasure of visiting it many times. The evening light-up is a tourist favourite.

I’m a graphic artist and digital illustrator. I love my ocean home and all things historical – both of which influence my work. I use a mouse not a tablet to produce my illustrations and my happiest hours are when I’m drawing the day away.
