The Last Dance

Inspiration comes from countless hours exploring the many rivers and creeks through out the Island. This stream is one of many that drain into Sproat Lake, near Port Alberni. I painted these sockeye salmon (life size) trying to capture the movement between the fish and the riffles of shallow water.
